What you'll be doing here
  • You will facilitate the completion of the Critical Conservation research project and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the successful delivery of all its components.
  • Conduct field research on one of the project's sub-themes, evaluate the results, and translate them into research outputs.
  • Research, write, and publish academic articles in peer-reviewed formats, maintain the website, and deliver other agreed-upon outputs.
  • Contribute to the organization and facilitation of internal and public meetings, as well as other forms of project communication and dissemination targeting academic and professional audiences.
  • Interviews will take place in person on September 23 and 29 in Bern. A detailed description of the role is accessible here
What you'll bring with you
  • MA or equivalent in heritage studies, heritage conservation, or a related field, along with a keen interest in the project's research questions.
  • Excel in communication, possess creative thinking skills, and engage confidently with practitioners and academic researchers.
  • Experience in inter- and transdisciplinary project work, coupled with a high degree of independence.
  • Active engagement in current debates, critical reflection on existing sources, and strong skills in interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork.
  • Relevant publication record and a strong work ethic; excellent command of academic and spoken English, and proficiency in one of the Swiss national languages, preferably German.
