What you'll be doing here
  • Plan and execute various syntheses (including production of target compounds and controlled polymerization)
  • Develop and optimize synthesis methods in applied research projects
  • Develop formulations of bio-based polymer systems for the production of sustainable building materials
  • Cooperate closely with national and international partners
  • Take on responsibility in applied research projects and service contracts as you gain experience
What you'll bring with you
  • PhD in chemistry, experience in organic and polymer chemistry
  • Good knowledge in instrument-based analytics (HPLC, GPC, GC, NMR, DSC and FT-IR)
  • A strong interest in application-oriented research, demonstrated through initiative, commitment to quality, and a customer-oriented approach
  • Communicative personality and team player with quick comprehension, great enthusiasm, and good analytical skills
  • Very good communication skills in English. German and/or French would be appreciated
