What you'll be doing here
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of research, development and consulting projects in Forest Production and Process Engineering
  • Actively participate in the design and preparation of research proposals, together with the head of the subject-area group and partner institutions
  • Participate in teaching at bachelor's and master's levels, particularly in areas related to forest operations and technical systems
  • Prepare scientific articles, reports and presentations
What you'll bring with you
  • Master's degree (MSc) in forestry, forest engineering or a closely related field with a clear connection to Forest Production, technology or ergonomics (e. g . environmental sciences with a forest focus, nature management with a technical focus)
  • Applicants from related disciplines with an interest in forest practices and technology are also welcome
  • You have basic experience or a strong willingness to learn in several of the following areas: Statistical analysis and programming (e. g. R, Python) and science-related project work and organisation; practical experience in forestfieldworkor technical implementation
  • You are confident using Microsoft Office and have strong communication skills in German (required), English (for international cooperation), and French (desirable, but not mandatory)
