What you'll be doing here
  • Innovative and practice-oriented teaching and supervision of students at the Institute of Marketing & Global Management, in German and English, at Bachelor/Master/Continuing Education level
  • Conduct independent research in the main topics of the Global Management specialist group
  • Acquire and implement third-party funded research projects (e.g. SNSF, Innosuisse) and service projects (e.g. for business partners)
  • Contribute to shaping the thematic profile of the Institute of Marketing & Global Management in a dynamic team and represent the Institute internally and externally
  • Development and further development of courses
  • The title of Professor may be used if the requirements set out in the BFH Staff Regulations are met.
What you'll bring with you
  • PhD in the subject area (e.g. Global Management, International Business, Intercultural Communication or Business Communication)
  • Strong stakeholder orientation beyond management (e.g. customers, employees, local communities)
  • Proven ability to acquire third-party funding and to publish in renowned international journals
  • Relevant practical experience in the subject area
  • Enjoy teaching and have didactic skills
